Positions start from the layout drawn on A-1.0. Swap types, or turn on Move and drag aircraft on the floor. Type labels, clearance lines and their tags appear only while Move is on; clearances are measured in plan.
ft
Aircraft are simplified shapes. Length, span and height are the OEM figures; planform is approximate, so treat clearances as ±2 ft. Parts are compared only where their heights overlap, so a high tail can pass over a low wing.

Hangar door
Lands, taxis to the stop bar, then the Mototok tows it into its bay (set on the Aircraft tab). Fly in turns every layer on except Dimensions, sets Walls & roof to Solid and closes the hangar doors; the hangar door then opens itself for the tow-in and stays open until the airplane is chocked. It also folds this panel away and starts on the Chase camera: pick Chase, Wing, Cockpit or Overhead in the bar at the top, or Exit to move the camera yourself; tap a tab to open the panel again.

- Hangar taxiingARGUS hangar-taxi research brief (2023): taxiing into hangars under power is “not a recommended practice” and many airports forbid it; towing with engines off is the best practice. SRQ’s Minimum Standards (Art. 9) require hangars to carry tow bars for moving aircraft. Arrivals therefore stop at the stop bar, shut down and are towed in
- Tow tugMototok TWIN series data: TWIN 7500 NG, 75 t MTOW, 7.5 t nose-gear load, 2,596 × 2,136 × 350 mm, 2,100 kg, 1.05 m/s max, radio remote control; nose wheel 180–670 mm. Assumed or approximate
- High-bay mounting height is not on the drawings. Fan blade height is derived from the fan submittal’s 5′ tube.
- Tapered frame members are straight-line fits between the clear heights Behlen dimensions.
- Office partitions were traced from A-1.0 linework and shown at ceiling height (9′-0″).
- MEP equipment positions were scaled from the plans where only a symbol is shown. Exterior light positions follow the RFI 34 markup notes.
- Sprinkler branch lines and heads follow the approved shop drawing’s spacing; pipe elevations are not dimensioned.
- Office duct elevations are not dimensioned; runs are drawn just above the 9′-0″ ceiling at the sizes tagged on M-1.1, with the AHU-1.2 system at ≈ 11′ where it crosses the AHU-1.1 branch in room 102. Joints, hangers, takeoffs and flex sag are drawn to typical practice (not detailed on the M-sheets).
- Hedges are placed from the plant symbols on L1.0; accent shrubs, trees and ground-cover beds are placed by group with the scheduled counts, and every ground-cover bed is trimmed to the C301 curbs, drives, walks and pads. Grading is flat at FFE except the retention swales, which are carved below the lawn by their C401 depth (top of bank to bottom); storm pipes and structure bottoms are at their C451/C452 elevations. The royal palm L1.0 put by the southeast lot light is shown where the owner reports it was moved, in the open lawn by Fire Protection 115; the exact spot is approximate.
- Irrigation heads, valves, lines, sleeves and drip areas are traced from I1.0 (about ± 6″); pipe depths are typical (18″ cover on the main, 12″ on laterals, 18″ below pavement for sleeves) and the drip rows inside each hatched bed are a typical 12″ layout. I1.0 says line locations are schematic and the contractor field-adjusts them.
- Footings follow S-0.2 and S-1.1 sizes and S-2.x sections; their positions across the walls and their ends are scaled from S-1.1, and the floor is drawn level (it falls about 6″ to the door trench), so the column pedestals show at their minimum height. The NE footing step under the lav dump and the pier under each hangar-door jamb are assumed. Some existing under-slab branches in the model run through pad and thickened-edge zones.
- Underground and under-slab conduit follows ES-1.1, E-2.1 and E-3.1 where they show it; the hangar homeruns, the run from the CT cabinets to the MDP and every depth are assumed (E-0.1 note 31: conduit routing is schematic).
- The transformer, irrigation well and pump panel are placed from construction photos (about ± 3′). Backflow, meter, hydrant and FDC assemblies are generic shapes at the C501 locations; makes and models are not in the set.
- Exterior colors are matched by eye to the Procore progress photos; the set has no metal-building color selection. Storefront members follow the shop-drawing dimensions; door hardware is shown generic. Break-room module widths are scaled from A-1.7, and its pulls and floating shelf follow the photos; the black appliances and the washer/dryer location are per the owner. The Printer 103 wall follows RFI 48 (≈ 70 sq ft closed room) on the hallway wall line; its door position is assumed. Restroom fixtures follow A-1.6 and P-0.1; toilet accessories are shown in part. The refrigerant line sets and the condensate drain run below the slab (turn off Site & parking to see them).
- Door 100e is drawn as a five-section insulated door on vertical-lift tracks (per the owner); the section count, lite layout, spring shaft and operator mounting are typical, not dimensioned in the set.
- North of the C301 END AOA FENCE point, the airport perimeter fence along Pilatus Court to Clyde Jones Road and the gate across the service road are assumed (existing airport fencing, not in the permit set).
- Lighting contactors and the door control station are shown where the drawings imply them, not where they are dimensioned. The building signs and the future monument sign are by the owner and not modeled (only their circuits are noted).
- Night mode lights the model with a few representative light sources; it is not a photometric rendering. The ES-2.1 grid overlay is the engineer’s calculation.
- Airport markings and lights are standard patterns placed on OpenStreetMap centerlines and holding-position nodes: the airport’s actual paint, light spacing and the non-movement boundary are not in the permit set. Road centerlines are shown as broken yellow.
- The parked Tesla Model Y and Jeep Wrangler are simplified bodies to the manufacturers’ published overall dimensions. Arriving aircraft show red/green wingtip position lights, a white aft light and white strobes (plus red beacons on the jets); strobes run in flight and within 250′ of a runway, then go off; everything goes dark at shutdown. Flash patterns are representative.
- The apron lead-in line, stop bar and door swing-area hatch are standard patterns, not permit-set striping. Arrivals are kinematic animations: VREF+5 on final, VREF−5 at touchdown, 0.2 g braking to a 12–15 kt exit, cockpit over the centerline with the main gear tracking behind; not a flight model. The door interlock (open before the turn toward the door, locked open until the mains are chocked), the Mototok hook-up sequence and the chocks are drawn to standard practice, not from a written procedure; the operator’s position and outfit are per the owner. Sheltair building heights and the canopy depth are assumptions.
- Airport buildings are traced from the FAA diagram’s building fills with assumed heights. The Pilatus Court / Warhawk Place returns, stop sign and stop bar follow the pre-construction aerial imagery. Accessible stalls show the painted symbol; the actual stall paint is not detailed on C301.
Simplified geometry at true dimensions for planning and clearance checks. The stamped drawings govern.
